Privacy Policy

As of March 25, 2026. This privacy policy explains the type, scope, and purpose of how personal data is processed when you use www.radiosa.ch.

1. Responsible entity

RADIOSA

Community platform, represented by radiosa.ch

Registered office: Zürich, Switzerland

Email: we@radiosa.ch

2. Legal bases

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Legal bases may in particular be:

  • consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
  • performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures (lit. b),
  • legal obligation (lit. c),
  • legitimate interest (lit. f).

3. Categories of processed data

  • master data (e.g. name, first name),
  • contact data (e.g. email address),
  • communication data (e.g. content of inquiries),
  • usage data (e.g. pages visited, time of access),
  • technical data (IP address, browser, operating system, referrer).

4. Purposes of data processing

  • provision and security of the website,
  • responding to contact inquiries,
  • sending newsletter/updates (with consent),
  • reach measurement and improvement of our service,
  • fulfillment of legal obligations.

5. Server log files

When the website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects technical information in so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested resource, browser data). The processing serves to ensure stability and security (e.g. abuse prevention) on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Storage period: As a rule up to 30 days, unless longer retention is required to investigate security incidents or for legal reasons.

5a. Prevention Check (storage of answers)

Your answers in the Prevention Check are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us in plain text. The result is calculated directly in the browser. By default, the answers are stored only for the current session; if you wish, you can keep them on this device.

For analysis and study purposes, we collect exclusively anonymous, aggregatable information, that is the selected answer options (as technical identifiers), the result, the language and the date (without the time). We store no name, no email address, no IP, no device or browser indicator. Attribution to your person is not possible. Transmission only takes place if you expressly agree.

In the Prevention Check we do not ask for a name or email. If you contact us separately (e.g. newsletter or email), this data is processed in accordance with the relevant sections.

Note: Radiosa is an information and guidance service. The information collected in the Prevention Check and the analyses derived from it serve exclusively for orientation and internal improvement; they do not constitute a medical assessment and do not replace a medical evaluation, advice or treatment. The recommendations of your treating specialist are always decisive. For details, see the Legal Notice, section «Medical note».

  • Purpose: internal analysis and improvement of content and user guidance, study purposes.
  • Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided you agree to the anonymous analysis.

6. Getting in touch

When you contact us by email or form, we process the data you transmit in order to handle your request. The legal basis is regularly our legitimate interest in efficient communication or - for contract-related inquiries - the performance of a contract.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address and, where applicable, your name exclusively for sending it. Registration follows the double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link or by email to us.

For handling the newsletter we currently use the Loops service (Loops.so). The form data you enter is transmitted to Loops.

Legal basis: consent. Storage period: until you withdraw your consent or until the newsletter service is discontinued.

8. Cookies and comparable technologies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies and comparable technologies (e.g. local storage) that are required for the secure and functional operation of the website.

We currently do not use marketing cookies. You can use your browser settings to control or delete cookies.

9. Web analytics

We use two analytics tools. Vercel Analytics runs cookie-free and collects aggregated, pseudonymized usage data for the technical optimization of the website. Google Analytics 4 is only activated after your consent.

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland; Google LLC, USA) collects usage data (e.g. pages visited, device type, shortened IP address) for aggregated statistics. Activation only takes place after your express consent via the consent banner at the edge of the page (Google Consent Mode v2: 'analytics_storage' is 'denied' by default).

You can withdraw your choice at any time by deleting the 'radiosa_consent' entry in your browser's local storage and reloading the page. The consent banner will appear again.

Vercel Analytics

  • Purpose: reach measurement and performance optimization,
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest,
  • Provider: Vercel Inc., USA.
  • Note: no separate consent banner needed, no marketing cookies.

Google Analytics 4

  • Purpose: statistical analysis of usage behavior,
  • Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31(1) FADP),
  • Provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

10. Recipients and processors

We only pass on personal data when this is necessary, a legal basis exists or consent has been given. Recipients may in particular include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel Inc., USA,
  • Anonymous Prevention Check analysis (separate Supabase project, only aggregatable identifiers): Supabase Inc., USA / global infrastructure,

  • Newsletter handling: Loops.so,

11. Data transfer abroad

Data processing may take place in countries outside Switzerland or the EEA. If there is no adequate level of data protection there, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

12. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist. Afterward, data is deleted or anonymized.

  • Contact inquiries: as a rule up to 24 months,
  • Newsletter data: until unsubscribe/withdrawal,
  • Prevention Check (anonymous analysis, only with consent): as a rule up to 24 months, then deletion or anonymization, unless security or legal grounds prevent this,
  • Server log data: as a rule up to 30 days.

13. Data security
